Rules And Code Of Conduct
The Titan Code defines how Protectorate members operate together: free pilots, unified by choice, with discipline when the fleet is on mission.
I. Community Standards (The Titan Code)
- Sovereignty of the Individual: Every member is a free agent of the Protectorate. Respect the autonomy of your fellow pilots; we operate as a unified front by choice, not by coercion.
- Operational Integrity: When flying under the Protectorate banner, your actions reflect on the fleet. Maintain professionalism during active missions, especially when representing the Defense, Industry, or Exploration branches.
- Mutual Defense: An attack on one is an attack on the collective. We prioritize the safety of our members and assets above all else - no Titan is left behind.
- Merit-Based Growth: Influence and rank within the organization are earned through contribution, skill, and reliability, rather than tenure alone.
- Knowledge Sharing: The "Unbound Pathfinder" mentality means we grow stronger by sharing data. Hoarding critical jump-point or resource data from the fleet is contrary to our mission of collective prosperity.
II. Rules of Conduct
- No Friendly Fire: Intentional aggression against fellow Protectorate members or designated allies is strictly prohibited.
- Anti-Griefing Policy: While we are independent, we do not engage in "aimless" griefing. All combat operations should align with the strategic goals of the Defense branch or the protection of Industry assets.
- Communication Protocol: Use designated Discord or Spectrum channels for their intended purposes. Keep "Operation" channels clear of chatter during active fleet maneuvers.
- Zero Tolerance for Discrimination: The Protectorate is a sanctuary for all who seek freedom from the cage. Harassment based on race, gender, or identity is immediate grounds for expulsion.
- Chain of Command: During active sorties, follow the directives of the Lead Titan (Commanding Officer). Discussions regarding strategy are welcomed in debriefings, not during the heat of battle.
III. Moderation & Expectations
- The "Iron Shield" Policy: Management's primary role is to protect the community from toxicity. Moderation will be swift for clear violations of the "Zero Tolerance" rules.
- Dispute Resolution: Conflicts between members should first be handled privately. If unresolved, they may be brought to a "Justice of the Themis" (Mediator) to ensure a fair and balanced outcome.
- Warning System: For minor infractions, such as protocol errors, a "Yellow Alert" warning will be issued. Three warnings within a 90-day period will result in a temporary suspension of flight privileges.
- Transparency: Any permanent removal from the organization (Blacklisting) will be accompanied by a brief summary to the leadership council to ensure accountability and prevent "cage-like" administrative overreach.
